Time to Bloom

What I'm good at isn't sexy.

“Every seed has a different way of blooming.” – Réka Kaponay

Looking back in life, I always wanted to be the joyful, happy, easy-going, playful, artsy, life of the party. You know … the one people called for a good time.

But, in reality, the positive adjectives that describe me better are compassionate, courageous, kind, gritty, organized, and respectful. Great words, but not super-sexy. And … I’m OK with it.

I’m still fun, but even more so … I’m the one people call when they’re frustrated, scared, upset, lacking confidence, and/or unsure of what to do next. Right when they reach the point of thinking the next step forward is too difficult, or impossible, they reach out for a boost.

It turns out I have a knack for calmly listening, brainstorming, and transforming energy to see new possibilities. It comes naturally … and now I embrace the ability to face the fire head-on.

For decades, I tried to be the former (exciting and care-free) but over the past few years I’ve leaned into accepting the latter (dependable and thoughtful). This sense of self-belonging has been transformative. I’ve bloomed into being exactly who I am, and the journey is one I’m happy to share so you can have your own Grace in Transformation.

GRACE in Transformation

  1. Listen within

  2. Acknowledge

  3. Accept where you are

  4. Let go

  5. Ask questions

  6. Seek healthy answers

  7. Allow a new path forward

If you’re a purpose-driven leader and you’re not sure how you’re going to address a challenge, and/or you have a team who could use a boost to ‘engage with change’, reach out.

My vision, mission, mantra and values center on valuing each person for who they actually are and maximizing your impact by utilizing the gifts and talents of your team. Happy to help you bloom!

In my last newsletter, “My Secret to Make Your Dreams Happen”, I provided an easy framework to turn your dreams and goals into reality utilizing the “dream to travel” as an example. Links to photos and highlights from recent travels to Chicago, Las Vegas, London (England), and Edinburgh (Scotland) were included.

I hope you have many opportunities to bloom.

May you always “Know your value, Live your values”.
