The Time is NOW
Do you remember the joy of handing out Valentine’s Day cards as a child? It was fun to pick them out, sign each one, and hand them out to all of your classmates at school. Over time, our stacks got smaller, both in what we gave out and what we received.
I suppose we reached a point of overthinking and/or simply being too busy.
Eventually, we gave out only one or two … or none at all.
Several years ago, a friend who had lost her husband told me how much she missed the little things: An extra plate at the table, small daily conversations, and yes, even a Valentine’s Day card. After speaking with her, I sent out 20 Valentine’s. A small gesture, but one that made me think:

Yesterday, I realized I hadn't bought any Valentines this year. I almost thought it was too late. But is it?
The truth is - it's never too late to show up for someone.
It can be as simple as:
📞 Picking up the phone to call
✉️ Dropping a note in the mail
😊 Lifting our head up, noticing others, and smiling
👉 Let them Know Now that they are seen and valued
The KNOW NOW Challenge: Take Bold Action
The theme ‘Know Now’ has been playing in my heart for months while working with My Density Matters (MDM) to prepare for the 5th annual Find Out My Breast Density Day. Each year the theme shifts as we brainstorm and bring the vision to life together. One thing remains the same - this initiative is about more than awareness - it's about action.

Together, a global community of partners - including doctors, companies, organizations, and individuals - are working toward one shared goal: saving lives through earlier diagnosis and action.
Because, we have heard these words too often:

From now through International Women's Day, we invite you to #AccelerateAction by accepting the KNOW NOW Challenge to empower more people to take charge of their breast health—because early detection can save lives.
